Reclaim Your Backyard
The first quite amazing product we found was a product called Reclaim Your Backyard, Platinum Mosquito Protection. I spoke with Howard Zinram. Reclaim Your Backyard is a system developed for people who are tired of rebuilding their screened enclosures after the yearly hurricanes. Their system sprays your property at daily intervals an all natural human and animal safe product derived from Chrysanthemums. It is called Pyrethrum. The system pumps out the Pyrethrum throughout your lawn throughout the day to stop Mosquitos, fleas, wasps, no-seeums, spiders and other biting insects. The units start at around $2400 and they are used throughout South Florida at many golf courses. The Pyrethrum goes in to a 55 gallon drum which costs $250 and can last up to one half a year.
