Craig Freedman from Shutter Smart has a great product that cannot be purchased at regular hardware stores such as Home Depot. They are vinyl shutters wrapped around a wood base for extra rigidity and resistance to warping. Greg got started in this business because he was looking for shutters in his home and wanted a panel over twenty inches. Home Depot had no such shutter. After shopping around he found the product he is currently selling. They have shutters with a maximum width of forty inches. These shutters will never rot, peel, yellow or wilt. They are plantation shutters that would beautify any home they were installed. He also has some very interesting shutters that slide along panels inside the window.
